The CSD is putting together a May book drive as a way to collect new and gently used books appropriate for our K-5 students to fill our Camas Summer Book MoVAN.  The Book MoVAN will serve as community outreach to provide summer reading resources to our families. Reading just 5 books over the summer can prevent summer learning loss. (Heyns, 1978)

5/1 (3rd-5th only) 7:00-8:00 am & 5/3 (K-2nd only) 7:00-8:00 am

Parent/Teacher Conference Week:

November 5^th-9^th is parent/teacher conference week.

Students will be released at 12:10pm every day next week.

Fall Book Fair:

The Fall Book Fair begins on Monday 11/5.

Lunch Recess – 11:00-12:00 Mon-Fri

Before School 7:30-8:00 Tue, Thu, Fri Only

Picture Retake Day is Friday, November 2, 2018:

If you received school pictures for your student but would like your student to retake their picture on November 2^nd, please remember to send the first set of pictures back with your student so they can be returned to the photographer. If you would like to change your picture package too, please also request a retake picture envelope from your teacher and indicate which package you would like. If no changes to your original package will be made, no need for a retake envelope. Just return the original pictures and you will receive the exact same package as originally ordered, with the new picture. NO PAYMENT IS NECESSARY. Return pictures/retake form with your student ON PICTURE RETAKE DAY, 11/2/18.

If your child did not participate in the original picture day or if you decided not to order pictures but would like to now, please request a retake envelope from your students teacher, choose a package and include payment.
