Woodburn Students Help To Restore the Steigerwald Refuge

During a recent field trip to the Steigerwald Refuge in Washougal, Woodburn 5th graders explored the landscape and helped with restoration. Students planted a mix of black cottonwood, red osier dogwood, and a mix of different willows, surrounding each log habitat structure with a layer of new vegetation.
