Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 3 – it’s time for “Cinco de Casino!” Grab your sombrero and maracas and head to “Casa de Westlie” in Washougal for one of Camas Athletic Booster Club’s incredible annual fundraisers. Doors open at 6 PM with a silent auction and appetizers (no-host beverages will be available). Gaming fun will begin at 6:30 PM and continue throughout the evening with on-going tournaments. Did you know that a special garden has been “in the works” at Skyridge for almost a year? The final stages of construction are now happening and it will be dedicated on Earth Day next Tuesday, April 22, at 2:10 PM. At that time Skyridge Middle School will also be presented with a Washington State Green School Level 3 Award.
If you would like to help put the final touches on our Lewis and Clark Rain Garden, please join other volunteers this Saturday, April 19 at 9 AM. The garden is located in the grass area immediately behind our library. This garden is the result of a lot of had work and support from our community, students and staff. We have received grants for plants, donated dirt and gravel from local businesses, and many hours of labor to make this a reality. Please consider an hour or two at Skyridge this Saturday to help finish a garden that will be both educational and beautiful.

In an effort to support the students at Skyridge, we will be conducting a Cookie Dough Fundraiser. Last year this fundraiser helped to secure a wide variety of ASB needs for all of our students. We hope that you will support us by embracing this great fundraising opportunity. The cookie dough comes in a great flavor variety, is preportioned for easy use, and has no trans fats. Other yummy treats are also being offered.
