In March, Skyridge students were studying Andrew Jackson and the effects he had on American democracy. As a checkpoint assessment after one section of this unit, Rachel Higgins put together a remarkable rap video. It is quick and we guarantee a laugh. Best of all, this video is also a reminder that our kids do amazing things when given choice in how they show what they have learned.

Skyridge students and staff try to make every day “Earth Day!” Since 2007, the Skyridge Green Schools program has continued to expand under the dedication and strong encouragement of Ann Hofmann, our technology teacher and ASB Advisor. From small beginnings, the effort at Skyridge has grown to become one of the premier programs in Clark County. To learn more, read the April 16, 2013, edition of The Post Record.
Skyridge was selected by the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Ladies Auxiliary to receive a POW/MIA Flag to display in honor and recognition of our Prisoners of War soldiers and those who are Missing In Action. Judy Graves of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Ray Loney of the Veterans of Foreign Wars presented the flag to us recently during a live broadcast of our Skyridge Network News.
