SAFETY LISTENING POSTS
*Invitation to Participate: Safety Listening Posts*
Recently there have been events which have brought school safety to the forefront of our minds and into many conversations with families and staff members. Working to improve our processes and systems* related to the safety is a comprehensive, ongoing commitment.
To that end, we’re inviting you to participate in a process our Citizens Advisory Committee is facilitating. If you are able, please join us for one of two scheduled listening posts to provide feedback about school safety. We will also be asking our students and staff for the feedback. We are hoping to understand better our community concerns and also ideas for improvement. If you are unable to attend, but would like to provide feedback, you can do so through our feedback form.
> Listening Post #1 on March 20 (6:00-7:30 p.m. at Liberty Middle School)
> Listening Post #2 on March 27 (6:00-7:30 p.m. at Skyridge Middle School)
> Online Parent Feedback Form (open through March 29): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSftqINyn6xzZiOMOviG7HztvgNlqfqJ8McjhjNqqgbl_LdJvQ/viewform
In the coming weeks and months, our Citizens Advisory Committee will be combing through our collected data, researching solutions, engaging law enforcement and safety professionals, and, ultimately, making recommendations to our School Board.
An effective safety program is reliant upon participation from our entire community. Thank you so much for joining us on our journey.
