I am grateful to be able to call Liberty home for the eighth year, and I’m also excited to be able to serve as the Associate Principal. At Liberty, I am honored to work with such a caring and passionate staff that is always pushing to support our students and provide the best opportunities they can for their growth and learning. As a former Skyhawk (before the days of Liberty) and Papermaker, I take pride in being a long time member of the Camas community and I am grateful to serve in a community that has contributed greatly to who I am today.
It is my belief that it is our responsibility to prepare our students to be successful outside of our doors, in the “real world.” By helping our students grow academically, socially, and behaviorally, I believe we can effectively create great leaders for tomorrow. I also believe that when you have clear, high standards for students, and you passionately support them in reaching those standards, then you create a positive school environment that leads students to be successful in all walks of life.
Liberty P.R.I.D.E. is a huge component of everything we do at Liberty as we try to create a culture where all students are Positive Respectful Individuals Demonstrating Excellence. This year particularly, we hope to engage families in how best to support their children in our building as they are working to show Lions’ P.R.I.D.E.
It is my hope in this role to support all students in finding out how they can achieve success in school and in life. I also will work each and every day to make sure all students that come into our school feels safe, welcome, and respected. I look forward to getting to know, and having opportunities to support, all of our scholars.
