Energy Star Certified

Liberty Middle School is a member of the District’s Energy Star family. Liberty earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) ENERGY STAR certification, which signifies that the building performs in the top 25 percent of similar facilities nationwide for energy efficiency and meets strict energy efficiency performance levels set by the EPA.

About

Liberty Middle School opened its doors for the first time in the fall of 2006 in the building previously occupied by Camas High School. One of two middle schools in the Camas School District, Liberty is home to just over 700 students.

The school day at Liberty begins at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at 2:45 p.m. Some students attend zero period and their day begins at 6:45 a.m. The building is open to students from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. unless the student is involved in a supervised school sponsored after-school activity.
