Lego Engineering

Grades: 2-5

Challenging and fun! Build machines with motors and learn about gears and pulleys. Make cars that drive & robots that move.

Wednesdays, October 9-November 13

Lego Jr. – Blueprints and Buildings

Grades: K-1

Design your masterpiece, and then create it! Each day your architect will be given a building project that they must first design using graph paper, and then build with Legos. Examples of projects include a picture frame, watermelon, and balloon powered car.

Success through Chess

Grades: K-5

Develop critical and creative thinking skills while having fun learning the game of chess! We have a comprehensive program appropriate for all students, who will progress at their own rate. Instruction includes the critical principles, tactics, and strategies as well as “Success Secrets” applicable both to academics and to life! First Movie Night!

Fall Family Movie Night Raffle Winners!

 

We had a great showing for our Fall Family Movie Night. Movie, prizes, popcorn, friends, families…what more could you ask for on a Friday night. Thank you to our PALS parents for a fun evening and event! Our next movie night will be November 7th along with our Book Fair and All School Read. We are looking forward to another awesome evening with our kids and families.

 

Lacamas Movie Night-Now Showing: “The Secret World of Arietty”

Welcome Back Lacamas Leopards! We had a fabulous Block Party and first few days back to school and are excited as we start the year together learning and growing.  This Friday is our first PALS “Movie Night.” Doors open at 5:30 and the movie starts at 6:00. We will be playing “The Secret World of Arietty” with popcorn and snacks available for only $1. This is a great opportunity to celebrate the start of our year with other families, so wear your comfy clothes, bring something to sit on and join us for an awesome movie night!

Big Learning for Little Learners

Please join us for an evening of family-focused learning activities to support early learning and school readiness skills. This program is open to young learners ages 3-6 in the Camas School District. We will focus on early literacy and math skills and provide free materials for you to take home and use to continue the learning at home. Space is limited to the first 40 families.

Levies pass!

Thanks to all the voters in Camas who stepped up and voted to uphold our standards for our students, and the community in which we live. While we only needed a simple majority to win the levy elections, it warms the heart to see the overwhelming support.
