Energy Star Certified

Hayes Freedom High School is the newest member of the District’s Energy Star family. Hayes earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) ENERGY STAR certification for 2012, which signifies that the building performs in the top 25 percent of similar facilities nationwide for energy efficiency and meets strict energy efficiency performance levels set by the EPA.

Senior Kyle Treece has planned a school-wide Game Night this Friday, January 13 as part of his Senior Project.

From 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the HFHS Commons, students & guests are welcome to play board games and enjoy snacks.

There is no cost to participate – students are requested to bring a snack to share during the event.

Each month, teachers will choose one girl & one boy to be recognized as Students of the Month. These Renegades represent the qualities we look for every day - kindness, pride, fearlessness - in an outstanding manner, throughout their classes. These students are individuals who are consistently striving to do their best despite any obstacles and, in the process, inspiring others.
