3rd Annual Blood Drive

Energy Star Certified

Hayes Freedom High School is the newest member of the District’s Energy Star family. Hayes earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) ENERGY STAR certification for 2012, which signifies that the building performs in the top 25 percent of similar facilities nationwide for energy efficiency and meets strict energy efficiency performance levels set by the EPA.

Sophomore Tiffani Pekkala, recently chosen as a “Real Hero” by Red Cross, shows her Renegade spirit & pride by not only consistently producing quality schoolwork, she is a remarkable force in the community as well. This is the third blood drive she has organized to help Red Cross and raise awareness of the need for donations. Please join her by donating blood or volunteering your time at the event.

Each month, teachers will choose one girl & one boy to be recognized as Students of the Month. These Renegades represent the qualities we look for every day - kindness, pride, fearlessness - in an outstanding manner, throughout their classes.
