Energy Star Certified
Dorothy Fox Elementary School is a member of the District’s Energy Star family. Fox earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) ENERGY STAR certification, which signifies that the building performs in the top 25 percent of similar facilities nationwide for energy efficiency and meets strict energy efficiency performance levels set by the EPA.
Kindergarten Orientation

Kindergarten Orientation is May 11 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
You may access registration packets and requirements for entrance on the district web site. If you are unable to attend kindergarten orientation, please contact Shanna Nielson at 360-833-5410 to schedule a registration appointment. The purpose of orientation is to meet teachers and staff, and learn about the kindergarten curriculum.
Please be aware that in addition to the registration forms, you will need to submit the following paperwork:
- State-issued birth certificate
- Immunization information: students must be fully immunized (doctors refer to this as “5-year-old” or “kindergarten shots”) or an exemption needs to be on file in order for your child to be registered
- Proof of residency, i.e., driver’s license, utility bill, purchase agreement, renter’s agreement
If you are aware of or know any future Camas kindergarten students in your neighborhood, preschool, etc., please let them know about kindergarten orientation and encourage them to attend!
